About the Artist

Hello!

I’m Stephanie, the human friend of our beloved Toad and the creator behind the whimsical wares you can find carefully crafted, and created for the shoppe.

As a digital artist, my weapons of choice include my trusty Ipad, Procreate and my favourite fountain pen brush - though sometimes photoshop and illustrator creep in there.

While my style is ever evolving, trying to capture the ink splatter of medieval engravings and vintage pen illustrations is what I love the most (though I can never resist giving them a swirl or two).

For 2026 my goal is to expand this portfolio to include more ornamental imagery and foil based designs but I’m happy to see where creativity takes me.

It’s been a pleasure to meet you, though you'll need to keep a watchful eye out to spot Toad - he’s shy.

    We're a big fan of books and foil so to marry the two together would be a dream!

    Plus, we love a good shelfie - so we'd be over the moon to hear about any opportunity to craft sprayed edges for your projects.

  • Enamel Pins

    Enamel pins are one of our favourite things to design: from pins that spin to pins to pop on your jacket. We love them all.

  • Bookmarks.

    Bookmarks are our staple here at Tooth and Toad. With mediums such as paper and foil, enamel and wood; there are plenty of options just waiting to be discovered.

FAQ's

Do these prices include commercial licensing?
They do indeed! All of our final quotations include commercial use, though each project is priced individually to account for commercial needs.

Can I request an item not on this list?
Of course! We love to hear about new projects, this list just showcases some common projects but it's not exhaustive at all. We're always happy to talk over ideas.

What goes into your pricing?
My pricing takes into account the project complexity, finish (is it in colour? Vectored? Need to be foiled? Involve fonts? Volume of items etc), the time frame, revisions and delivery. Each project accounts for 2 revisions during the initial phases.

What does a project process look like?
Each timescale can vary depending on how large a project is but after receiving a brief our timeline looks a little like this:

  1. Initial ideas and getting to know your vision - during this stage I'll send a mood board of my ideas alongside imagery to make sure the final product matches the vibe you're after.
  2. First sketches and font placement (if needed).
  3. Revisions - adjustments to sketches and any needed tweaks.
  4. Final lined version and font choices.
  5. Final approval and files.

How does payment work?
We take 50% of the project upfront with the final invoice due approval. All of our terms are highlighted in our contract :)

A final important factor that we'd like to mention is we do not use AI within our work and have a strict no AI policy.
